The nature of the problem is simple... All a thief has to do is right-click on your sales page, then read the "successful payment page" URL, found in your payment link. He's then got access to your goods! If you sell through ClickBank or 2CheckOut, your Thank-You page may be given away. It is that easy. To make matters worse, Web Crawlers can catalog your Thank-You pages. In many cases, these crawlers will ignore your robots.txt file, exposing your product download page to the world!
There are many options on the market to combat the theft of digital goods. Most of them are ineffective in reaching the heart of the problem. They just don't keep your data secure. What you need is a Digital Vault.
The Digital Vault secures your data and your web pages. It forces the customer to validate a successful payment prior to download. Finally, your data will become secure. |

Hi! If it wasn't for the Digital Vault, I couldn't have used PayPal in a secure fashion. It's the complete stand alone solution I have used since I started selling with PayPal. In fact, it's the best bargain in town for payment processing. Digital Vault always performed well for me. Mario Taillon |
Just as the name implies, a Digital Vault allows you to store electronic media in a secure location on your web server. It puts a lock on a front door that would otherwise be left exposed.

Successful Payment Flow for PayPal Transactions
Rather than route your customer to a web page, or a file in the web browser, your clients are routed to a "teller window" of sorts, where they are forced to show the proper identification. Of course, this all happens behind the scenes. Customers who have paid you properly are routed to the location and are automatically authenticated.
Ensures The Proper Amount Has Been Paid

Before the client is allowed to view the page or download the media, the following security items are confirmed:

When I released my Ebook, I knew I needed to protect my assets from the digital bandits. No WAY was I going to let anybody steal this thing! Without a second thought, I turned to my good friend John Stone. John's Digital Vault was the ONLY solution. I had it up and running in a few minutes and it was even integrated with my affiliate management system. Digital Vault is an absolute must-have if you're selling *anything* digitally. It's AWESOME!! How does this thing work?
PayPal uses a technology called Instant Payment Notification (IPN) to send a successful payment notification to your server. Unless you have software on your site to receive this information, you have no way to know that your client has really paid for your product.
ClickBank offers a similar technology that must be incorporated into EVERY Thank-You page. Per ClickBank, you must be "an Experienced Programmer" to use their security feature.
2CheckOut utilizes encryption technology that must be incorporated into a third-party application. Per 2CheckOut, you must purchase a product to secure your goods. And there are plenty of people out there willing to charge you an arm and a leg.
Prevents Direct Access To Digital Goods
|
After a simple installation on your web server, the Digital Vault performs the necessary security checks with both PayPal, 2CheckOut and ClickBank to confirm your payments. You don't need to be an experienced programmer, you don't even need to hire one.

John, We normally spend about 4 hours a day taking care of technical support problems. To be honest, I didn't expect much of a script priced this low since I have purchased scripts for $200.00 that didn't deliver what was promised. It took me about 10 minutes to install... Geez, the script did most of the work! Now that 4 hours a day is down to less than a half hour! Best of all, no more sending out our eBook as an attachment to an email! Did I already say best of all? We have a script that automatically records every download of our eBook. Before I installed Digital Vault, I saw fake names and fake email addresses on the log every day. I would change the download location just to have it shared with others within a month. More fake names and fake email addresses of people who never made a purchase! Guess what? No more fake names and email addresses... No more changing the download directory. Only paying customers are recorded on our download log now. Digital Vault is actually making MORE MONEY for me! Thank you, thank you. thank you!

What The Thieves See
Would-be-thieves, trying to bypass the payment process, are stopped at the vault door. Everyone that comes to the door, without the proper information passed from the Payment Gateway, is asked to provide credentials that prove they have really purchased your product. Unless the Payment Gateway has passed on the necessary information, they will be unable to authenticate and retrieve your product.
The result: Only products that were paid for can be downloaded.
What The Paying Customer Sees
Your customers have the benefit of immediate product access. No more waiting. No more wondering. Successful sales produce the following results:

Hey, John ... As you know, I've lost my share of sales to info-product thieves. I don't know how many times I've checked my server log, just to find out another ClickBank sale had been ripped off. And PayPal? Heck, you can actually SEE the download link for Pete's sake! It's assuring to know that my files are locked away in the Digital Vault, to be accessed ONLY by paying customers. It's funny ... just one lost sale paid for the complete Digital Vault system. That fact alone makes purchasing DV a "no brainer"! ..;) Thanks, |
Think about it. If the Digital Vault stops as little as one theft, it has probably paid for itself. Any other solution is simply throwing away your money. You can finally take comfort in knowing that your products are protected and that your clients are receiving their purchase WHILE YOU SLEEP!

Okay - here you go. We have setup a demo purchase for both
ClickBank and PayPal. Its not just a demo purchase, for FREE we are
throwing in a copy of "Ezine Guide To Publishing" for you to download.
PayPal does not have a Zero dollar sale mechanism, so we charge a nickle. I guarantee we are not getting rich selling demo purchases for 5 cents! Oh, and you are not "paying" for the FREE ebook. This is a formality to overcome the shortcomings of the PayPal sales mechanism.
